Priscilla F. McAuliffe, M.D., Ph.D.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

From 2002-2005, Priscilla McAuliffe was a research trainee supported by the National Institute of General Medical Science T32 Fellowship, Molecular Biology and Gene Therapy in Trauma and Burns. Under the guidance of Dr. Lyle L. Moldawer and Dr. Richard W. Moyer, she evaluated the delivery of protease inhibitors using adeno-associated viral gene therapy for the treatment of intimal hyperplasia. For this work, she received a Ph.D. (Molecular Genetics and Microbiology) from the University of Florida. She plans a career in academic surgery when she completes General Surgery residency in 2008.
