The Laboratory of Signal Transduction is headed by Dr. Steve
Hochwald. It is located on the ground floor of the Academic Research Building
alongside the General Surgery Laboratory headed by Dr. William Cance.
The laboratory itself was founded by Dr. Cance in July of
2003. The laboratory focuses on the interaction of focal adhesion kinase and insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor signaling in human pancreatic cancer.
