Transplantation & Hepatobiliary Surgery
The Division of Transplantation
and Hepatobiliary Surgery at the University of Florida provides internationally recognized care
in the complex areas of abdominal organ transplantation (Kidney, Liver, Pancreas) and Hepatobiliary Surgery (surgery of the liver, bile
ducts and pancreas).
The ability of our surgeons to merge techniques from both transplantation
and oncologic surgery allows the most aggressive surgical approach to malignant hepatobiliary disease.
We currently perform approximately 100 liver transplants and over 150 liver
resections per year making our division one of the most experienced groups in
the country.
